The Van Fleet Awards has titled the Toyota Hilux as Pick-Up of the Year.
The Toyota Hilux has gained its first trophy, receiving the award for Pick-Up of the Year by the Van Fleet World Awards. An impressive title for the Hilux’s latest design and available powerful engine. The Hilux stays true to the Toyota brand in terms of reliability, durability and overall quality. At the end of 2020, the latest model was introduced with a new design change and a more powerful 2.8-litre engine available. There is a six-speed automatic or manual transmission, with the UK version models being all-wheel drive as standard. Now with new equipment features and extra comfort, the performance of the Hilux has improved in terms of both on and off-road capabilities. The vehicle makes a true statement and with a growing number of customers, the Hilux is perfect for those who want to achieve both business and leisure activities.
The Van Fleet World Editor, John Kendall, has said: “Hilux is one of the few names that would be recognised just about anywhere in the world. The Toyota pick-up has just about become a byword for dependability. It largely shunned the fashionable end of the pickup market, where wheels rarely get dirty, until late 2020 when Toyota gave it a 201hp engine option and a refresh. Hilux still has a strong following among working users, providing single, extended (extra) and double cab options to suit their varying needs.”
The Hilux offers a range of accessories suitable for business and leisure users, whilst coming with a five-year warranty.
